registered holistic nutritionist making food

Life is a beautiful journey, but one that is fraught with challenges.  After struggling with many of my own health issues, weight, IBS, gastritis, migraines, and PMS, I became increasingly interested in health and nutrition.  I had an intuition that the body knew how to heal itself and I wanted to address the root of my problems rather than simply masking the symptoms with medications.

"My passion is to help people overcome their health issues and benefit from last-lasting results"

Serving 13 years in the Canadian Forces gave me courage and determination while showing me the value of hard work.  After leaving the military I decided to first satisfy my inner foodie and enrolled in culinary school at Liaison College.  Just after graduating, I had my children who came with their own health issues.  My son having asthma, and my daughter suffering from eczema related to food sensitivities.  Settling into our new home near Ottawa I finally pursued my passion for health and nutrition completing the Natural Nutrition Program at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.  Combined with my culinary experience, I love to create satisfying, tasty meals that are highly nutritious.

Raising a family with my husband on a single income has given me an intimate insight into the challenges of living healthfully on a budget. All of this has led me to want to help others overcome their health issues.

Holistic nutritionists believe that nutrition should not be a one size fits all approach.

Everyone is biochemically distinct and has unique nutritional needs.

We look at the body as a whole rather than its individual systems.
